{"id":13,"date":"2015-01-13T21:17:29","date_gmt":"2015-01-14T02:17:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/drmartynchilvers.ca\/?page_id=13"},"modified":"2020-03-05T19:14:50","modified_gmt":"2020-03-05T19:14:50","slug":"our-clinic","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/dromahony.ca\/drpeterson\/our-clinic\/","title":{"rendered":"Our Clinic"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" id=\"exifviewer-img-3\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-8780\" src=\"http:\/\/drjohnomahony.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/02\/Our-Clinic-1-1024x287.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"287\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We have three full time nurses providing both clinical and clinical research medical activities.\u00a0 They are Karen, Lisa, and Shanon.\u00a0 Two of our nurses have been working at our clinic for over 15 years.\u00a0 Our administrative staff consists of Sue, who has been with us for over 15 years, and Jessica.<\/p>\n<p>We are also involved with the Bluewater Clinical Research Group, a physician-led group that conducts clinical trials on a wide range of common conditions seen in family practice such as diabetes, hyperlipidemia, fibromyalgia, migraine, cardiovascular disease and much more.<\/p>\n<h1 class=\"entry-title\">Our Services<\/h1>\n<div class=\"highlight\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<p>Patients can expect to receive the following services provided by our clinic<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Family Medicine Care<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">As a family physician, Dr. Peterson provides comprehensive primary care to his patients, including preventative, episodic, small procedure, and palliative care.\u00a0\u00a0 Dr. Peterson holds a fellowship in Emergency Medicine from the College of Family Physicians.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Antenatal Care<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">We provide routine pregnancy care to women up to the end of the second trimester and then coordinate with our local Obstetricians for third trimester care.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Lumps and Bumps for patients of Dr. Peterson<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">We provide assessment, biopsy, and treatment for skin lesions.\u00a0 These include cryotherapy, biopsy and excision.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Driver\u2019s Medicals (open to anyone)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Dr. Peterson is willing to complete Ministry of Transportation Driver\u2019s Physicals for any driver in the community.\u00a0 Please contact our office for the cost.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Addiction Medicine Care<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Dr. Peterson cares for 60 patients in North Bay with opioid addiction and dependency through treatment with opioid replacement therapy with either Suboxone or Methadone.\u00a0 He has started to provide the same care to patients of his practice with opioid addiction.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Independent Medical Evaluations<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Dr. Peterson provides General Independent Medical Evaluations for Insurers and Plaintiffs.\u00a0 Please contact the office for pricing.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Clinical Research<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Our site has been active in clinical research for the past 15 years.
